The Florence Copper Community Foundation recently awarded a $2,500 grant to Burawa Horse Rescue to support urgent veterinary care for a horse in need.
This funding helped cover medical expenses for the rescued horse Bindi, ensuring she received the treatment necessary to recover and thrive. The grant also helped ease the financial burden on the rescue, allowing continued care for other horses in their program.
“This support ensures Bindi can get the care she needs and helps our team continue providing for all the horses depending on us,” said Stephanie Burawa of Burawa Horse Rescue.
Through this grant, the Foundation is proud to support the organization’s mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and caring for horses in need throughout the region.
