November 21, 2023 – Florence Copper recently reaffirmed its commitment to the local community by participating in the Town of Florence’s much-anticipated “Florence Makes a Difference Day.” This yearly event, dedicated to fostering community enhancement initiatives, brought together volunteers from across the town to contribute to various projects aimed at improving the lives of Florence residents and neighboring communities.
As part of its involvement, Florence Copper not only donated its popular “I Heart Florence” shirts to all the dedicated volunteers but also had several of its team members actively engaged in the day’s volunteer activities. At the end of the event, the Florence Copper team served lunch to volunteers alongside Florence Mayor Tara Walter and Councilmember Kristen Larsen.
According to Sophie Dessart, Florence Copper Manager of Communications and Public Affairs, “At Florence Copper, we believe in the power of community and the impact that collective action can have on fostering positive change. Being able to contribute to the ‘Makes a Difference Day’ was a true honor for us.
