Coolidge, AZ, July 8, 2022—The Florence Copper Community Foundation (“Foundation”) was pleased to support the Friends of the Coolidge Library and presented a grant of $500 to the organization on July 6, 2022 at the Coolidge Public Library.
The Foundation’s donation will sponsor subscriptions to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, which provides free books to children from birth to 5 years of age. The check presentation took place during a youth summer program held by the Coolidge Library with representatives of the Friends of the Coolidge Library, the Florence Copper Community Foundation, and local families who will benefit from the donation present.
The Florence Copper Community Foundation was established in 2013, and since then, the Foundation has awarded over $66,500 in grants to local non-profits.
Florence Copper is thrilled to make an impact in the local community through this donation and is committed to ensuring that Coolidge children have access to quality, engaging books at a young age to foster life-long readers and higher educational outcomes.
