The health and safety of our employees is our top priority. To date, there are no known cases of COVID-19 at Florence Copper or any of Taseko’s operations.

As the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, Florence Copper will continue to take all necessary precautions to reduce risk and protect employees and their worksite. Those who can work remotely are doing so. All non-essential travel has been cancelled until further notice and public site tours have been postponed until the fall. The Governor of Arizona, Doug Ducey, has declared mining to be an essential business in our state. Our crews are well trained and well respected in the industry. Our work will continue to be conducted with emphasis on increased personal and workplace hygiene and physical distancing as we all do our part to eliminate the spread of the virus.
