The Florence Copper Community Foundation recently awarded a $2,500 grant to the Salvation Army of Casa Grande Corps. This grant will help strengthen the organization’s ongoing work to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of individuals and families across Casa Grande, Florence, Coolidge, Eloy, Stanfield, and surrounding communities.
The Salvation Army provides emergency food, clothing, and shelter; rent and utility assistance; youth programs; senior outreach; and disaster relief, all offered in a welcoming, non-discriminatory environment. In 2024 alone, the Casa Grande Corps assisted 4,203 people, served 8,103 meals, and supported families with essential resources from clothing to Christmas toys.
The grant from the Foundation will support the Corps’ annual fundraising kickoff, with all funds staying local and directly benefiting community members who need help with rent, utilities, food assistance, and other basic needs.
The Foundation is proud to contribute to the Salvation Army’s mission of compassionate care and community support.
