In winter 2025, the Florence Copper Community Foundation contributed a $2,000 grant to the Coolidge FFA program, helping support their annual Skousen Memorial Livestock Show. This funding ensures that this growing event can continue offering hands-on learning and real-world experience to local students.

Now in its third year, the Skousen Memorial Livestock Show has grown into an important opportunity for FFA members preparing for the Pinal County Fair. Nearly 100 students will showcase livestock, poultry, and mechanics projects this year, gaining valuable practice and confidence before the big week.

Traditionally held in late February or March, the two-day event is open to the public and features clinics, workshops, and local vendors, helping draw strong community support while giving students a platform to shine.

The Foundation is honored to help keep this tradition thriving and to invest in the next generation of young leaders.

The Coolidge FFA is always looking for community support and engagement. There are several ways the public can contribute to the success of their program:

  • Donate to the program
  • Volunteer time
  • Join the Coolidge FFA Alumni and Booster Club
