During the 2025 holiday season, the Florence Copper Community Foundation was proud to support local food banks working to ensure families across Pinal County have access to nutritious meals during Thanksgiving and Christmas. In addition to grant support, the Florence Copper team completed its annual Thanksgiving food drive, collecting nonperishable items to support families in need.

Through its community grant program, the Foundation awarded a $2,500 grant to Hope International Food Pantry in support of its annual Thanksgiving Community Outreach Program. This program provides complete holiday meal boxes to families experiencing food insecurity in Coolidge and surrounding communities.

In 2024, Hope International served more than 350 households and in 2025 worked to expand its reach by more than 30%, distributing more than 400 meal boxes filled with turkeys, fresh produce, pantry staples, and desserts. The Foundation’s support helped cover essential items such as turkeys, hams, and fresh foods, supplementing generous community donations and volunteer efforts.

The Florence Copper Community Foundation also awarded a $2,500 grant to the Florence Baptist Church and Food Bank. This funding helped support the organization’s ongoing food bank operations and contributed to providing Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for local families in need.

The Florence Copper Community Foundation is honored to support these organizations and their dedication to caring for the community, particularly during the holiday season when the need is greatest.
