The Florence Copper Community Foundation (“The Foundation”) awarded a $2,000 grant to Kada’s Promise. This grant will help fund and support the creation of comfort kits, which contain a teddy bear and blanket, for children facing trauma. These kits are distributed by first responders, child advocacy centers, shelters, and foster care agencies in Pinal County.
Kada’s Promise was founded in memory of Kadence, whose kindness and love for others inspired the mission to bring comfort to children in need. The organization ensures that every child knows they are loved, valued, and never alone. Each gift honors Kada’s promise, turning her story into hope for countless young lives. Her legacy lives through every bear and blanket.
“This grant means we can get so many more bears for the children who need them the most. This bear will be their friend, their confidant and hope that they can get out of their horrible situations. Kada’s Promise was to make sure all children would receive a bear that was homeless, abused, and neglected. You have helped keep this legacy alive for many years to come,” said Leisha Foss, Arizona Ambassador.
The Florence Copper Community Foundation was honored to present the grant award to Kada’s Promise alongside the Florence Fire Department, which also collected bears to donate to the organization.
